House Ways and Means approved H. R. 6049

House Ways and Means approved H. R. 6049, the “Energy and Tax Extenders Act of 2008” on May 15th.  The measure could go to the full House for a vote next week.  The bill provides a vehicle for final enactment of the tax extenders that expired in 2007 or will expire in 2008.H.
